Founder
Fairy Dog Mama was founded by Courtney Faulkner in 2016 to provide a more personal, professional and force-free alternative to traditional high-volume pet care.
Courtney began working professionally with dogs in 2013 at a positive-reinforcement daycare and training facility in North Vancouver. Working with dogs who had behavioural, emotional and physical challenges showed her how valuable individualized care could be — particularly for pets who did not thrive in traditional daycare, boarding or large-group environments.
Today, Fairy Dog Mama provides personalized dog walking and live-in pet care throughout North and West Vancouver, with a deliberately limited client list and a strong focus on long-term relationships, safety and consistency.

Our Journey
Courtney’s professional pet-care career began in North Vancouver in 2013. In 2016, she founded Fairy Dog Mama after recognizing a need for reliable, positive-reinforcement care for pets in their own homes and communities.
Over the years, Fairy Dog Mama has evolved toward a smaller, more personalized model centred around consistent care, carefully matched groups and strong relationships with pets and their families.
