Taylor is a 24-year-old girl from North Vancouver. She has been working closely with Courtney since the beginning of Fairy Dog Mama in the summer of 2016. Prior to Fairy Dog Mama, she started working at a force-free training and daycare facility where she learned the fundamentals of positive reinforcement training and proper force-free dog handling for three years. Taylor also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and has completed numerous courses that are relevant to pet care, such as Walks ‘N Wags Pet First Aid, the Bravo Dog Get Dog Knowledge Levels 1 & 2, Bravo Dog Get Dog Knowledge Puppy Essentials, and Bravo Dog Get Dog Knowledge Body Language courses. She also regularly attends seminars and webinars, hosted by Bravo Dog, that ensures she stays up to date on the current information in the field in order to provide her clients with the best knowledge and care she can. She has worked with a wide range of dogs of all sorts of breeds, and has cultivated very close relationships to her clients that have lasted long-term. She is able to provide specialized care for dogs who are fearful, anxious, frustrated, or dogs have physical ailments (i.e. deaf) to name a few. To say Taylor is passionate about dogs, the force-free community, and being able to provide the best care she can is an understatement. When Taylor isn’t at work, she is with her Yorkshire Terrier, Spike, who has been in her life since 2005. With Spike’s age, she makes sure he has everything he needs to be comfortable, healthy, and happy in his remaining years.
